The Weekly Edit // No. 72
The fragrances I sprayed and outfits I wore this week.
This was the first week that I haven’t 100% hated an outfit in two months! Major win for me. I’m making more sound wardrobe decisions by adding only things that I love and will make my wardrobe more functional. I’m excited to get dressed again and I love this feeling!
I’ve been able to find amazing things for my wardrobe secondhand, and I want to easily note what I’ve scored. Anything I got secondhand, whether from TRR, Poshmark, eBay, ThreadUp, Depop, etc., will be noted with ♥ from now on.
DAY 1

Barrel Pants + Green Tank
This outfit has been on my “never worn” list for far too long, so I finally put it on. I thought I was going to hate it or be indifferent, but I like it! I thought this was going to seal the deal on getting rid of these shoes, but they have new life. Still hate the scarf though.
Cacharel Noa
I wanted to smell sweet and floral without smelling like candy. This one never dissapoints.
DAY 2
Business Casual
A pop of color could work here, but these neutrals are scratching an itch in my brain. The flat-front pants and pointed toe on the flats give this look a sleekness that elevates my heart rate. This look also has a good ratio of skin to fabric and great balance. I need 14 pairs of bejeweled shoes right now! Jimmy Choo or Manolo Blahnik, preferably, but I’m open to others.
Maison Francis Kurkdijan Gentle Fluidity Gold
I was a little dressed up so I wanted to smell like it too. MFK Gentle Fuidity Gold is a non-gourmand vanilla that smells like a regulated nervous system and good decsions. I prefer wearing in the fall and winter, but she got the jo done today.
DAY 3
Cream Pants + Peplum Top
This is my least favorite look of the week. I’m not pleased with the balance of this outfit. I should have taken this top to the tailor with the others, but I can see it exiting my wardrobe soon. I wanted to participate in the peplum comeback, but this isn’t it for me. The top either needs to be more sheer than it is or I need to get the waist taken in. I don’t love the neckline so I’ll probably choose to take it out of my wardrobe.
You have to try things to see if you’ll like them so I’m not mad that I tried this top. I learned a few things about myself and my ideal wardrobe from it so there wasn’t any time or money wasted.
DedCool Sunlit Blooms
I wore something off-season before so I wanted to smell like summer. Orange blossom, vanilla, and salt will do that. It’s reminiscent of a floral orange creamsicle.
DAY 4
Mesh Top + Wide Leg Jeans
Pictures never do the mesh on this top justice. It looks more sheer in person. I’d like this better if I wore the top completely off shoulder. A bag with higher contrast to the pants would make me like this look more. I don’t hate it, but it doesn’t have a wow-factor either.
Note: If you like the top, size down. It’s stretchy so it won’t stay up without a snug fit.
DIME Beauty 7 Summers
Listen, if you want to smell like a resort vacation in the Caribbean…this is the one. I’m jealous of the newer bottle design, but I’ll be spritzing the last of this soon enough.

Fragrances Make Your Outfits Better
For those invested in me not having to wear the same pair of jeans twice in one week, my clothes are back from the tailor! Yay! I now need to wash them. Boo. On the upside, they all fit perfectly. I …
An LED Mask Worth the Splurge, a Hack for Open-Toed High-Heeled Sandals & a Godsend for Long-Nailed Typers
I got dressed this month! According to Indyx and my Sunday dispatches, I got dressed at least 4 days out of the week, whether or not I left the house. It felt amazing. I feel like I’m finally startin…
