How to smell good all the time & what's been lovely this week
You have to admit that there is something captivating about a person who smells good. Whether they are in your friend group, someone you know at work, or even a family member -- when they walk by you take notice.
Women who smell good make heads turn. You can tell that these kinds of women take care of themselves. Smelling amazing every day isn't something you just happen to do. It takes effort and the effort is well worth it to become one of these kinds of women.
It's not just perfume that makes a woman smell fantastic. There are a few things that she does to make sure she smells good all the time, but there are also things she doesn't. These are some things she doesn't do to make sure she smells her best all the time.
What’s Been Lovely This Week
If you have an HEB near you grab some Mango Limeade. It’s in the prepared food section where the Meal Simple meals are. If it’s not there it could also be with the fresh juices in produce. Then grab some Aperol from the liquor store. 2 parts Mango Limeade and 1 part Aperol with a splash of club soda make a very refreshing summer cocktail.
I don’t know what it is about late spring and early summer, but the solicitors in the neighborhood have been getting annoying. I work from home so people interrupting my day by ringing the doorbell trying to sell me something l don’t want and causing my geriatric dog to lose her mind was getting to be too much.
We didn’t want to put a sign in our yard or have to drill into the brick to post one so this no soliciting sign was a wonderful Amazon find. You just stick it on the side of your doorbell and you’re done. It can flip it to cover your doorbell too if you don’t want to be disturbed. I 10/10 recommend getting it if you’re tired of being bothered with nonsense.

The lady in that TikTok tells no lies. Cremo’s Italian Bergamot body wash is very similar to Lost Cherry by Tom Ford. While I can confirm that it smells wonderful, it doesn’t smell exactly like it. It has the same olfactory sensation, like the smells feel similar but they smell distinctly different. I love Lost Cherry and I love Italian Bergamot. I’ve been using his Italian Bergamot body wash like it’s mine for months because it is. What’s mine is yours and what’s yours is mine, right?
We were in Target recently and noticed a new Cremo body wash and immediately got two bottles. I took a sniff and just put it in the basket. Then Chanston sniffed it and put another in because he knew I’d be using it just as much as he would.
I’m almost finished reading the Bible cover to cover with The Bible Recap podcast and I’m looking forward to starting it all over again later this summer. This past week I read Ecclesiastes and it’s my favorite book! The teacher in this book imparts wisdom for living a good life with the constant reminder that it is all '“hevel” so it’s best to focus on what truly matters. Reading this book has inspired me to do more with the money I put aside each month for others and take a closer look at what I love.
